Your scripts and data

OpenSpeech Cloud sends the text you submit to Replicate to generate speech. Do not submit confidential or sensitive personal information. Provider processing is governed by Replicate’s privacy policy.

Your current draft and selected model are saved automatically in this tab’s session storage and a browser-local backup so they can survive checkout and reload. Clear the script to replace that draft with an empty one. If storage is unavailable, save a script backup before checkout. Drafts are not sent to Stripe or analytics. If history is enabled, recent scripts and temporary audio links are saved in this browser’s local storage. Use Clear history in the studio to remove them. Single-recording scripts are not synced to a workspace.

Before Review, your voiceover script, project name, and voice are saved in this tab and a browser-local backup, separately for each workspace. Reviewing the script creates a project in the named library and clears that unreviewed draft. Other projects stay saved. Cloud saving is optional: only when you choose to upload a project and press Save to workspace do we store its title, script paragraphs, chosen voice and recording references in your private workspace. Restore that workspace with your recovery key to load those projects on another browser. Up to 30 projects can be stored in the workspace. Removing a cloud copy deletes that saved project; your browser copy and generation/payment records remain. A project backup contains text and recording references, not audio files.

New recordings are copied to private Vercel storage after audio validation. The authenticated workspace can play and download them for seven days from delivery. Expired files are queued for hourly deletion; retries may delay physical removal. Generation and payment ledger records remain, but the audio is no longer accessible after expiry. Older recordings retain their original temporary provider links.

An HTTP-only cookie identifies your browser workspace for 30 days and renews when you actively return to the studio from this site. Server records contain a hashed workspace identifier, a provider job identifier, model, script fingerprint, creation time, and credit settlement. We retain payment and generation ledger records to track your purchased balance and prevent duplicate charges. Scripts are not stored in that ledger. API keys are stored as hashes, expire after 30 days, and can be revoked in the studio. Rotating a key gives its predecessor up to 24 hours of overlap, within the old key’s original expiry; you can revoke it sooner.

When you submit the contact form, your reply email, selected topic, message and page path are sent to our private team support channel in Slack so we can address your request. They are not sent to Gizmo Analytics. Do not include recovery keys, API keys or payment-card details in a support message.

A hashed network address is used to enforce generation and abuse limits. Submitted scripts and email addresses are not included in custom analytics. Gizmo Analytics measures page visits, checkout steps, generation outcomes, model usage, and downloads. Revenue attribution uses a random per-tab session token in session storage, rotating after 30 minutes of inactivity. The token is attached to checkout metadata to connect purchases to traffic sources. We send Gizmo purchase amounts and transaction identifiers, but no payment card details, email addresses, recovery keys, or submitted scripts. Browser session storage also prevents repeated purchase-confirmation events in the same tab.

When you join the production-access waitlist, we save your email, signup time, source, and model interest. We use this information for production-access updates.

Stripe processes credit purchases and receives the payment information entered at checkout. OpenSpeech records checkout and payment identifiers, purchased credits, and refund status; it does not receive your full card number. Recovery keys are stored as hashes and restore the same paid workspace across browsers. Keep them private.
